Today has been rubbish. We got a call yesterday from a woman at our estate agents asking to come around to check the water pipes or something at the flat, which is fine, we set a time for 11am this morning. Today was Labor Day or something, which basically just meant they were running weekend timetables on public transport and I was stupidly late to class this morning, which just made me a bit more peeved than I already was. I finished two chapters of Red Boots, Black Soul today. It might take me the two weeks to finish the others, but yeeeeah. Feels good.
And I've only been up twelve hours.

We went and got her this morning, and she's fucking adorable. Seriously, the moment we opened the box at home here she stared up at me with those eyes and oh god i melted. Goo. Puddle. Me. Gone.
